Application for Internship in Translational PK/PD Modeling of Oligonucleotides

To whom it may concern

I am excited to apply for the internship in Translational Pharmacokinetics-Pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) Modeling of Oligonucleotides at Roche, starting in August or September 2025. As a passionate pharmaceutical sciences student, I have always been fascinated by how compounds interact with the human body—this is what drew me to PK/PD and inspired me to pursue this field.

While my hands-on modeling experience is still developing, I am highly motivated to expand my skills in this area. I have a foundational understanding of R for data analysis and have worked with molecular modeling tools such as Schrödinger Maestro. Although I have not yet applied PK/PD modeling in practice, I am eager to learn and committed to dedicating extra time outside the internship to strengthen my expertise. Additionally, I have access to experienced colleagues who can provide me with a crash course in key concepts before starting.

What excites me most about this opportunity is the chance to contribute to Roche’s pioneering work in oligonucleotide therapeutics while deepening my knowledge of quantitative pharmacology. I thrive in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments and would be honored to bring my enthusiasm, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to your team.

Thank you for considering my application. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my background and dedication align with this internship. I am available for an interview at your convenience and look forward to your reply.

Yours sincerely,
